Thrilled to report that East Kent Community Programmes supported by the Tasso Foundation and RMG Associates are making a real impact through the Arts and Sport. The beneficiaries are schools with high pupil premium. The regions benefiting currently include Deal and Dover, and Thanet.
All our funding awards are scrutinised and are assessed against the impact that we have on deserving young people, families and deprived communities. We are thrilled that Karen Hodgson led the highly successful parks scheme on the Marke Wood courts. The hope has to be that this becomes the model for future successful schemes on public courts in East Kent. It is sad to see them idle. I am also thrilled by the great work being done in association with the Astor Theatre celebrated by creating opportunities for low income families to attend the Christmas panto.
