Overview of the week (see photo diary)
We ran from 9am to 3.30pm every day from Monday 5th August to Friday 9th August. At the end of the each day we asked everyone to write on a post-it note their favourite thing about the day.
- Day One - The first day was all about getting the group to feel part of a team and to get to know each other. We also tie-dyed the sarongs for their costumes.
- Day two - we had a three -hour dance workshop from Zest Dance and in the afternoon, began to rehearse the show.
- Day three - the drumming workshop and making the animals for the show.
- Day four - rehearsing all day.
- Day five - getting ready for the show, final rehearsals and then performing the real thing!
